Shipping Policy

West Kitchen offers nationwide curbside shipping with liftgate for all items (unless additionally specified) to all US states, except Hawaii and Alaska, (For shipments going to Hawaii and Alaska, please feel free to reach out to us for a competitive quote). Shipping normally takes 2-8 business days, inapplicable to unexpected special occasions that might delay the shipments.

Standard Shipping Notes:

*Our shipments are not guaranteed delivery, as we cannot control the carrier service once the order has been shipped. The exception to this is orders are placed and shipped using methods that include a guaranteed delivery date.

*If an order is canceled or refused (unless refused as damaged shipment) after it has been shipped, a 20% restocking fee and the full freight cost will be charged to the customer.

Upon Receipt:

Please only sign for your shipment after you have checked to make sure that it arrived safely and have noted any issues on the delivery receipt! If the packaging shows any evidence of a problem, truck drivers can wait up to 15 minutes while you break the shrink wrap and inspect individual items for any damage. The driver is not responsible for unwrapping or help unwrap any shipments. It is the customer’s responsibility to receive and inspect all items before accepting it. DO NOT ACCEPT SHIPMENT IF there IS UNACCEPTABLE DAMAGE! 

Damage shipment: If you notice any damage, you are allowed to break the shrink-wrap on the skids to inspect individual items. If any item is damaged or missing, or if you have any doubt about any item being damaged you MUST do the following:

  • Note it clearly on the delivery receipt before signing (i.e. – “holes in packaging”, “multiple dents on the table”, etc.).
  • Keep your copy of the delivery receipt.
  • Keep the damaged packing materials for inspection.
  • Take pictures of the damaged items and packaging.
  • Contact us on the same day.
  • Email all photos and invoice number to support@westkitchen.us

If part or all of your shipment is damaged and you did not note this in any way on the proof of delivery, we CANNOT guarantee any compensation or exchanges for damages. By signing your name on the delivery receipt without noting any damages, you are stating that you have received your shipment in acceptable condition. West Kitchen is not responsible for claims made after shipment is received/ accepted/ signed for in acceptable condition!

Exchanges: If you receive a defective unit please contact West Kitchen to set up a service call. If the item cannot be fixed only then will an exchange take place; all exchanges are subject to approval.

Returns: If unsatisfied for whatever reason and requesting a return; the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping cost plus a 20% restocking fee. All returns are subject to approval. All return requests must be made within 14 days of purchase. No exceptions will be made.
