Return & Exchange Policy
Upon Receipt:
Please only sign for your shipment after you have checked to make sure that it arrived safely and have noted any issues on the delivery receipt! If the packaging shows any evidence of a problem, truck drivers can wait up to 15 minutes while you break the shrink wrap and inspect individual items for any damage. The driver is not responsible for unwrapping or help unwrap any shipments. It is the customer’s responsibility to receive and inspect all items before accepting it. DO NOT ACCEPT SHIPMENT IF THERE IS UNACCEPTABLE DAMAGE!
Damage shipment: If you notice any damage, you are allowed to break the shrink-wrap on the skids to inspect individual items. If any item is damaged or missing, or if you have any doubt about any item being damaged you MUST do the following:
- Note it clearly on the delivery receipt before signing (i.e. – “holes in packaging”, “multiple dents on the table”, etc.).
- Keep your copy of the delivery receipt.
- Keep the damaged packing materials for inspection.
- Take pictures of the damaged items and packaging.
- Contact us on the same day.
- Email all photos and invoice number to support@westkitchen.us
If part or all of your shipment is damaged and you did not note this in any way on the proof of delivery, we CANNOT guarantee any compensation or exchanges for damages. By signing your name on the delivery receipt without noting any damages, you are stating that you have received your shipment in acceptable condition. West Kitchen is not responsible for claims made after shipment is received/ accepted/ signed for in acceptable condition!
Return & Exchange Policy
Exchanges: If you receive a defective unit please contact West Kitchen to set up a service call. If the item cannot be fixed only then will an exchange take place; all exchanges are subject to approval.
Returns: If unsatisfied for whatever reason and requesting a return; the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping cost plus a 20% restocking fee. All returns are subject to approval. All return requests must be made within 14 days of purchase. All approved returns must be in new, unused and undamaged condition (exclusive of items claimed for damage) and with original packages. No exceptions will be made.
Please check the shipped items’ condition on receipt, and refuse to sign if there are apparently noticeable damages. Please take pictures of the damaged shipping and send us for a free exchange.
If the products are found to have been damaged after opening the package, take pictures and contact us for a free exchange.
Shipping in Error
Please contact your sales representative at 833-387-7474 and report the shipping error on receipt of a wrong delivery. We shall arrange the return and exchange of wrongly shipped products for you.
Defective Items
A defective item is any product that does not work properly on receipt of it. Please call our sales representative at 833-387-7474 and report the problem. We shall arrange the return and exchange it with a new one or issue you a credit free of charge.
Warranty Claims
All of our products have a one year parts and labor warranty. Our refrigeration units have a 6 YEAR compressor warranty as well. One of the best in the business! We have a nationwide service network we use for all of our products under warranty. Give us a call and we will arrange warranty service for you right away.
*Unfortunately acts of natural disasters including hurricanes, tornados, floods, lightning damage etc. among others are not covered under the warranty of our products. This would be a claim you would have to pursue with your business insurance company.
